The MEPs have recently voted for their position on the upcoming COP28.
The push by European Union lawmakers comes before nearly 200 countries meet to discuss stronger climate change action at the COP28 conference in Dubai from Nov. 30 to Dec. 12.
”..whereas water scarcity is becoming endemic as a result of the local impact of physical water stress coupled with the acceleration and spread of freshwater pollution; whereas low-middle-and high-income countries all show signs of risk related to water quality; whereas the multiple ecosystem services provided by water should be ensured, inter alia, through water planning and investment in water-related innovation, including energy and water efficiency, in line with the water-smart society principles.” You can find the link for the resolution here.
